ToP Module 5 Principled Influencing and Negotiating
This course is offered in New Zealand by Participatory Techniques Ltd (NZ) and authorised by the Institute of Cultural Affairs Australia. In taking part, participants will:
- understand the dimensions of a human being through the lens of Te Tuakiri o te Tangata
- develop self-awareness to interact with others with integrity, upholding our own rangatiratanga and that of others
- enhance listening and communication to build rapport and connection’
- acknowledge and work with different needs and interests when negotiating
- transform conflict and address difficult situations and
- understand the process of developing agreement and commitment.
Dates and Course Attendance Requirements
Wednesday June 24 - Friday June 26 2020 The course is three full days. It begins 9:15am on Wednesday, and finishes at 5:00pm on Friday. It is intensive in nature, and includes evening sessions (Day 1 and Day 2). Full attendance is required to be awarded a Completion Certificate.
Venue and Accommodation
The course is being held at Te Mauri Tau, 20 Cornwall Road, Raglan (Whaingaroa). The course fee includes on-site Marae-style accommodation and all meals. Should we need to cancel the course: If for any reason we must cancel the course, your registration fee will be fully refunded. If you choose to cancel your registration: If you withdraw from the course before the course confirmation date of Wednesday May 27 2020 your registration fee will be refunded minus a $25 administration fee. Registration cannot be refunded if you withdraw after Wednesday May 27 2020 (the course confirmation date), but you can transfer your registration to someone else.
